Production Operative / Coating Technician No previous coating or electronics experience is required. Permanent | Full Time | 36 Paid Hours Per Week Working Hours • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm • Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm • No evenings or weekend working About SCH Services Ltd SCH Services Ltd is a growing specialist manufacturing company based in Barnsley. We provide conformal coating and parylene coating services for customers across a wide range of industries where quality and reliability are essential. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our production team. We provide full training, so this role would suit someone looking to develop new skills within a friendly and supportive manufacturing environment. About the Role This is a varied, hands-on production role where you'll work as part of our manufacturing team preparing, coating and inspecting electronic assemblies. Following full training, your duties will include: • Preparing electronic assemblies for processing • Masking and demasking printed circuit boards (PCBs) • Applying specialist conformal coatings • Carrying out visual inspections • Following work instructions and customer specifications • Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping • Working safely as part of a close-knit team Every product we process is different, making this an interesting role where attention to detail is important. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: • Has excellent attention to detail • Enjoys practical, hands-on work • Takes pride in producing quality work • Is reliable and punctual • Has good manual dexterity • Is willing to learn new skills • Can follow written instructions accurately • Works well both independently and as part of a team • Has a positive attitude Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or electronics would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
