Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing quality work. As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day production process, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping. Key Responsibilities • Support daily production activities to meet production targets. • Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently (full training provided where required). • Carry out quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. • Assist with general housekeeping duties across the production area. • Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times. • Handle and move materials as required. • Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) when required, if appropriately trained and authorised. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth production operations. • Report any equipment faults, quality issues, or safety concerns to the relevant supervisor. About You • Reliable, punctual, and has a strong work ethic. • Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexible and willing to support different areas of production as required. • Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties. • Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety. • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn.
