Production Operative

PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – WORCESTER People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative – Worcester to join our well-established client based near Hanley Castle, Worcestershire (WR8), disposing of clinical waste. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay, overtime opportunities, and the chance to develop within a specialist waste management environment. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Production Operative, General Operative, Recycling Operative, Waste Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Warehouse Operative or FLT Driver. Candidates with an in-house FLT licence or accredited FLT licence are encouraged to apply. Shifts • 4 on 4 off rotating • 06:00 – 18:30 • 18:00 – 06:30 Rates of Pay • £12.71 - £14.07 per hour Benefits As a Production Operative, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Weekly pay • Overtime opportunities available • Ongoing work leading to a permanent role • Specialist industry training Day-to-Day Duties As a Production Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Sorting medical, clinical and pharmaceutical waste for processing • Loading various recycling bins • Processing different waste types in line with site procedures • Organising waste areas and placing bins in the correct locations • Manually sorting waste by hand • Using PPE provided on site • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment • Completing any additional duties as required Essential Skills To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need: • Good communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Excellent organisational skills • Reliability and self-motivation • Ability to multitask effectively • Flexibility and willingness to undertake varied duties • Strong team-working skills • Full UK driving licence and own transport due to the rural site location and shift patterns Desirable Experience • Previous experience within waste management, recycling, production or manufacturing environments • FLT experience, whether in-house or externally accredited Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply • If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a Production Operative, please apply with your CV or contact our People Solutions branch for further information.
