Production Operative

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Tamworth. Personality The ideal candidate will be a reliable, detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual who is comfortable with physical, repetitive work, able to follow structured processes accurately, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Reward • £13.49 p/h • Holiday accrued • Free parking Job Role: • Be able to handle (pack, stack, palletise etc) safely containers weighing a minimum of 8kg and up to 25kg • Labelling containers and pallets as required by the product specification • Always ensuring the correct PPE is used including gloves, masks, safety shoes, eye protection etc • Be able to use lifting and handling equipment including drum changers and pallet trucks (hand and powered) • Maintaining an excellent standard of housekeeping during production and at the end of shift • Setting up and running a variety of decanting stations in SDA and SDA Flam • Understanding and implementing production documentation including production works orders, bills of materials, pack codes, single point lessons, labelling requirements • Ensuring that production works orders are completed according to the standard time and production plan Skills and experience: • Knowledge in SAP • Experience with fast paced environment • Flexibility to move to different (similar) jobs/areas when required • Proactive & using own initative • Legal right to work in the UK • Basic literacy & numeracy skills • Good attention to detail • Reliability & punctuality • Teamwork skills and ability to work on a machine alone • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks Please Note: We do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
