Production OperativeLocation: Kent (TN12) Salary: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour Shift Pattern: Days | 7:00am - 7:00pm | 4 days per week We're recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position with competitive pay, a 4-day working week and genuine opportunities for career progression. Please note: Previous experience within food & drink manufacturing or a manufacturing environment is essential for this position. The RoleAs a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: • Operating production machinery and equipment. • Working on fast-paced production lines. • Packing and preparing products for dispatch. • Carrying out quality checks to ensure product standards are met. • Following health, safety and hygiene procedures. • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment. • Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets. What We're Looking ForTo be considered, you will have: • Previous experience within food & drink manufacturing or another manufacturing environment (essential). • A positive attitude and strong work ethic. • Good attention to detail. • The ability to work effectively within a team. • A proactive approach to maintaining quality and safety standards. Desirable SkillsThe following experience would be advantageous, but is not essential: • Previous Line Leader, Team Leader or Supervisory experience. • A valid Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT licence. • Experience working within FMCG manufacturing. • Knowledge of quality, hygiene and food safety standards. Candidates with leadership experience or FLT licences may also be considered for additional opportunities within the business, depending on experience and operational requirements.
