Production Operator

We are currently recruiting for Packaging Operators to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with production, manufacturing, or packaging experience who are looking for long-term career development and progression. Available Shifts & Pay Rates Day Shift • Monday to Friday • 8:00am to 4:00pm • 40 hours per week • £12.71 per hour • Overtime paid at 1.25x hourly rate Rotating Days & Nights Shift • Monday to Thursday • 6:00am to 6:00pm / 6:00pm to 6:00am • 48 hours per week • £15.88 per hour • Overtime paid at hourly rate Key Responsibilities • Operate packaging lines safely and efficiently to meet production targets. • Carry out machine set-up, changeovers, and cleaning activities. • Load packaging materials and maintain continuous line operation. • Monitor production processes and replace materials as required. • Conduct in-process quality checks and complete production documentation accurately. • Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, Health & Safety and Quality standards. • Identify and report minor machine faults and production issues. • Minimise downtime and waste to maximise line efficiency. • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the production area. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives. • Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
