Job description

Production Operator - TemporaryJob PurposeThe Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment and supporting manufacturing activities to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. The role involves following approved procedures, completing production documentation, and working as part of the Production team to meet production schedules. Key Responsibilities • Operate production equipment and machinery safely and in line with approved procedures. • Set up production equipment and check it is working correctly before use. • Clean, dismantle and reassemble production equipment and work areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping. • Carry out routine checks, inspections and product sampling during production. • Complete production records and batch documentation accurately. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), health and safety requirements, and company procedures at all times. • Help ensure products are manufactured to the required quality standards. • Record production information and report any issues, faults or deviations to the appropriate team member. • Carry out routine cleaning of production areas, including equipment, sinks and drains. • Support manual packaging activities when required. • Assist with quality investigations and continuous improvement activities. • Work closely with colleagues across Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Engineering and Quality to support daily operations. • Support Engineering and maintenance activities when required.
