MTrec’s New Opportunity:
• MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Trimdon area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.
The Role:
• Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day
• Assembly - Fixing and assembling small components for the rail and transport sector
• Fitting nuts, washers and bolts
• Use of glue guns
• Apply adhesives accurately to panel surfaces
• Fit aluminium and plastic rails to panels using hand tools and fixtures
• Use clamping tools to secure components during the bonding process
• Pack finished products carefully for dispatch, following packing guidelines
• Use of different hand and power tools
• Carrying out visual quality checks of products, reporting defects to team leaders / supervisor
• General housekeeping duties and additional duties as and when required
• Strict adherence to health and safety standards
• Keeping the work area tidy, by sweeping and emptying bins if needed
The Person:
• Familiar with hand tools
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work to quality standards
• Physically fit as some products are heavy
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
• A team player with a positive, proactive attitude

The Hours:
• 08:00am – 17:00pm
• Monday to Friday
The Pay:
• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly payment
