This hands-on leadership role involves supervising dryer operations to ensure safe, efficient and consistent production performance while leading teams on shift. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will drive production targets, maintain high standards of quality and compliance, and take responsibility for day-to-day operations at site level. Description • Supervise day-to-day dryer operations, including production planning, manpower planning and material handling • Coordinate production activity to achieve agreed tonnage and performance targets • Lead operational excellence activity on site, including Opex and I-Cube initiatives • Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards • Manage LOTOTO documentation, permits and risk assessments • Manage incidents and near misses, ensuring actions and learning are completed • Supervise, lead and motivate 12-15 indirect reports • Plan and manage holiday and sickness cover to maintain operational continuity • Deliver Toolbox Talks, Take 5s and Safety Stand Downs • Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation and Imerys EHS and quality standards Profile This role would suit an experienced Production Supervisor or Shift Supervisor from a manufacturing, processing or industrial environment who enjoys being close to operations and leading from the front. You will bring a strong safety mindset, practical leadership experience and the confidence to engage, support and challenge teams while delivering continuous improvement.
