Production Team Leader (FMCG / Food Manufacturing) £30,000 - £40,000 + Flexible Shift Pattern + Permanent Position + Progression Howden, East Yorkshire Are you a Production Team Leader, Supervisor or similar with experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or packaging environments, looking for a hands-on leadership role where you can improve production efficiency and lead a team within a busy manufacturing setting? This is an opportunity to join an established food production business as a Production Team Leader. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of production lines, supporting the Packhouse Manager and ensuring production targets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently met. You will organise labour, monitor production performance, improve efficiencies and motivate Production Operatives to meet business and customer requirements. This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment, providing the opportunity to contribute to production improvements and continuous improvement initiatives. This role would suit a Production Team Leader, Line Leader or Supervisor with experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging or similar environments, seeking a stable position with responsibility and career progression opportunities. The Role: • Leading and motivating a team of Production Operatives to achieve daily production targets, while supporting training, development and performance management. • Planning and allocating labour across production lines to maximise efficiency, monitor KPIs, minimise waste and support continuous improvement. • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality and health and safety procedures, including maintaining accurate production records, completing quality checks and reporting downtime. • Working closely with Production Managers and Technical teams to resolve operational issues, maintain standards and support effective production operations. • Working 40 hours per week on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays. The Person: • Previous experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, Supervisor or similar role within manufacturing, FMCG or packaging. • • Basic Food Hygiene qualification • Able to commute to Howden, East Yorkshire.
