Professional Support Lawyer

Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) – Corporate Permanent | Full-Time Are you a Corporate Lawyer looking to move away from fee-earning while remaining closely involved in high-quality transactional work? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Lawyer or established PSL to join a leading corporate team in a strategic knowledge-focused role. Working alongside Lawyers across the practice, you'll play a key part in driving technical excellence, developing best practice, supporting training initiatives and enhancing the delivery of legal services. This position offers the chance to stay connected to complex corporate and M&A matters while focusing on knowledge management, legal innovation, process improvement and the professional development of colleagues. Key responsibilities: • Developing and maintaining corporate precedents, templates and technical guidance • Providing research and technical support on complex corporate and transactional matters • Acting as a key point of contact for legal and regulatory developments • Delivering training programmes and supporting Lawyer development at all levels • Creating practical know-how resources and promoting best practice across the team • Supporting client-facing content, legal updates and business development initiatives • Driving legal technology adoption and process improvement projects • Encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing across corporate and specialist teams About you: • 6+ years' PQE in Corporate law • Existing PSL/Knowledge Lawyer or a Corporate Fee Earner seeking a transition • Strong experience advising on mid-market M&A transactions and the full deal lifecycle • Excellent drafting, technical research and communication skills • Experience delivering training or mentoring Junior Lawyers • Commercially minded, organised and detail-focused • Enthusiastic about innovation, legal technology and continuous improvement This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a highly influential role within a successful corporate practice, helping to shape legal knowledge, support Lawyer development and drive innovation while remaining close to complex and interesting transactional work.
