Job description

Our client, a leading UK charity and national organisation, is seeking an experienced Programme Officer to join their team on an ongoing temporary contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of national programmes that make a positive impact across communities throughout the UK. Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will play a key role in programme administration, stakeholder engagement, data management, and operational support. The ideal candidate will have experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce. Previous experience supporting training, learning, education, or professional development programmes and Experience using Learning Management Systems or online learning platforms. The position offers predominantly remote working, with occasional travel to meetings or events as required. Key Responsibilities Programme & Administrative Support • Support the day-to-day administration and delivery of national programmes and projects. • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across CRM and internal systems. • Coordinate participant recruitment, onboarding, and engagement activities. • Manage programme-related administration, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and supporting project timelines. • Assist with the preparation of reports, performance data, and programme updates. • Support quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. • Monitor project milestones and assist in ensuring delivery targets are achieved. • Provide general administrative support, including inbox management, document preparation, and data reporting. Stakeholder Support • Act as a first point of contact for programme participants, partners, and stakeholders. • Respond to enquiries via email, telephone, and online platforms. • Support the administration of online events, webinars, and virtual learning activities. • Assist stakeholders throughout application, onboarding, and participation processes. • Build positive working relationships with delivery partners and external organisations. • Ensure contractual and operational records are maintained accurately and updated regularly. About You Essential Experience • Previous experience in an administrative, programme support, project support, or coordination role. • Experience managing shared inboxes and handling stakeholder enquiries. • Experience working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working collaboratively within a team environment. • Experience gathering, analysing, and reporting on data. Skills & Knowledge • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills. • Strong organisational and administrative abilities. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and solve problems. • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Desirable • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce. • Experience supporting training, learning, education, or professional development programmes. • Experience using Learning Management Systems or online learning platforms. • Experience producing reports and working with programme data. • Experience within the charity, education, public sector, or not-for-profit sectors.
