Job description

Project & Operations Analyst Reed Banking is currently working with a well-established international bank that is looking to hire a Project & Operations Analyst to report into the COO based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in project coordination, PMO support, business analysis, operations, or financial services administration who is keen to develop their career within banking. The role offers broad exposure across the business, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and supporting a range of projects, governance activities, and operational improvement initiatives. The Role As a Project & Business Support Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting internal projects and business change initiatives across the Bank. You will assist with governance processes, management reporting, project administration, and business improvement activities while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: • Providing day-to-day support to the COO and wider Operations team. • Assisting with the coordination and delivery of internal projects and change initiatives. • Preparing project documentation, reports, presentations, and management information. • Supporting business process reviews and identifying opportunities for improvement. • Extracting and analysing data to support operational and strategic decision-making. • Monitoring project actions, risks, milestones, and key deliverables. • Assisting with supplier management activities and maintaining relevant records. • Supporting Operational Resilience reviews and related documentation. • Working with colleagues across the Bank to support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. About You The successful candidate will be highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will ideally have: • Previous experience in a PMO, project support, business analysis, operations within a financial services setting. • Strong Excel and data analysis skills. • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • The ability to build effective working relationships across different departments. • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving. • An interest in project management, change, and operational improvement. Desirable • Exposure to project management or business analysis methodologies. • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or reporting tools. • A degree in Business, Finance, Management, IT, or a related discipline. • PRINCE2, APM, BCS, or other relevant qualifications (or a desire to work towards them).
