Job description

Project Coordinator Certain Advantage is recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join a team on an initial 9-month contract. This role is based in Leatherhead and requires onsite attendance three days per week. Your Responsibilities • Maintain and update project plans, supporting IT Project Managers with planning and re-planning activities. • Monitor project progress, manage schedules, critical paths, dependencies, and provide status reporting. • Coordinate configuration and change management processes, ensuring project deliverables are reviewed and approved on time. • Support or deputise for IT Project Managers during stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and project checkpoints. • Ensure effective use of Jira/Kanban boards to track tasks and improve team delivery. The individual: • Experience in a programme or PMO environment supporting Project Managers. • Knowledge of project planning, change management, RAID management, and reporting. • Strong report writing and stakeholder communication skills. • Experience working with public sector clients and third-party suppliers. • Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced projects with fixed deadlines. • Intermediate/Advanced in Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project. • Intermediate Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables; macros desirable). • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint. • Experience using Jira or other Kanban tools. • Working knowledge of software delivery, system integration, and Azure/IaaS hosting environments.
