Job description

Project Coordinator Bristol | Heavy Engineering | 3 to 6 Months | Hybrid Working Our client is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of two major engineering projects within a complex heavy engineering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised project professional who can coordinate multiple workstreams, maintain project schedules, and support delivery teams in achieving key project milestones. The Role Working closely with project managers, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders, you will play a central role in coordinating project activities and ensuring programmes remain on track. The position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working across both strategic planning and day-to-day project delivery activities. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and update project plans and schedules • Coordinate engineering and operational activities across multiple projects • Sequence project tasks and monitor progress against key milestones • Support contract reviews and ensure contractual requirements are understood and tracked • Compile and distribute project reports, dashboards, and progress updates • Coordinate project meetings, actions, and stakeholder communications • Identify and escalate scheduling risks, constraints, and delivery issues • Support project governance and documentation requirements • Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure successful project execution About You We're keen to speak with candidates who have: • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Planner, or Project Support role • Experience working within heavy engineering, manufacturing, rail, aerospace, defence, energy, or similar technical environments • Strong project planning and coordination capabilities • Experience producing project reports and managing project documentation • Understanding of contract administration and contract review processes • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Contract Details • Contract Length: 3-6 months • Start Date: Monday 3rd August • Location: Hybrid working (3 days on-site / 2 days remote) • IR35 Status: Inside IR35 • Rate: Negotiable depending on experience If you're an experienced Project Coordinator looking for your next contract opportunity and are available for an August start, we'd like to hear from you.
