Wellmoor Project Manager - Wellmoor (part of the Moretonhampstead Development Trust)

• £15.70 per hour (£14,695 actual salary / £30,615 FTE)
Location: Hybrid - with attendance at Moretonhampstead office when required
Job Terms: Maternity cover - fixed term from Oct 2026 for 12 months (with potential to extend)

About the role:
We're looking for a passionate and motivated individual to take on the role of Project Manager on a fixed term maternity cover contract. This role is on a part-time basis of 18 hours per week, with the possibility to increase depending on workload.
As a project manager, you will be directly responsible for the planning and delivery of multiple projects across the charity. The main responsibilities of this role include:
• Planning, preparing and delivering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Working with project partners, other organisations and Wellmoor's Project Support and Comms officer to deliver projects efficiently
• Managing projects with a digital support focus, including providing one to one and group digital skills support sessions if required
• Taking part in meetings that are relevant to digital projects, such as the VCSE Digital Inclusion Group
• Evaluating and reflecting on projects to ensure they gather the necessary data, meet the funder's requirements and reflect the needs of the community
• Contributing to new initiatives and funding bids in accordance with the aims of Wellmoor and the Trust
• Working with the Wellmoor team and Trustees to contribute to the day to day running and coordination of the charity
What we're looking for:
For this role, we're looking for somebody who meets the following essential criteria:
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
• Liaising with community partners
• IT proficiency and problem solving
• Communication skills, both online and in person
• Excellent data gathering ability
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Empathy and understanding of complex needs
• A full driving licence and own car
Other desirable skills for this role include:
• Experience of working with vulnerable adults
• Previous experience working for a charity
• Experience with funding applications
