This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level solicitor (1–4 PQE) looking to specialise or further develop their experience in property development and housebuilding work within a highly regarded and growing team. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to the full development lifecycle, making it particularly attractive for solicitors looking to build a long-term career in this space. Key Responsibilities: • Acting on acquisitions and disposals of development land • Advising on option agreements, promotion agreements and strategic land • Drafting and negotiating planning agreements, infrastructure agreements and easements • Supporting on secured lending transactions • Handling residential plot sales • Advising on CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) and SDLT matters • Supporting business development and client relationship management About You • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 1–4 years’ PQE • Experience in commercial property or real estate, ideally with some exposure to development or housebuilding • Strong technical skills with attention to detail • Commercially aware and client-focused • Keen to work in a collaborative, supportive team environment The Firm This is a top-tier, full-service commercial law firm with a strong presence in the Thames Valley and consistent rankings in Legal 500 and Chambers UK.
