Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

We are looking for a qualified PWP who has knowledge and experience of working within busy and challenging environments such as community wellbeing services or secure environments and working with people who present with a range of common mental health difficulties, including depression and anxiety. We will consider applicants for a trainee position if prison vetting is already in place. The successful applicant will work autonomously and provide direct interventions to a defined caseload of service users operating within recognised professional guidelines. Qualified PWP's will usually undertake 5 contacts to provide assessments and interventions a day with residents of the prisons. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of a Psychological Therapist and report directly to the Senior PWP. This role is based across multiple bases across Norfolk (HMP Norwich, HMP Bure and HMP Wayland) as well as trust sites. You will be required to travel independently to these locations.
