It’s hands-on experience supporting children and young people with: • SEMH needs • Autism and ADHD • Behavioural challenges • Trauma-informed support • Additional learning needs You’ll work in specialist schools, SEND settings, and alternative provisions, helping students regulate emotions, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with learning. The day-to-day? Building trust with students who need consistency Supporting emotional regulation and communication Using psychology in real, practical situations Becoming the reason a student feels safe, seen, and supported Those little breakthrough moments?
