Job description

Are you a Pump Engineer looking for your next opportunity? Our client is a long-established organisation working across vast experience in the pump industry. In this role, you will carry out a full range of on-site repairs, maintenance, commissioning and fault finding on centrifugal wastewater pumps and pump systems. Pump Engineer Permanent Dependent on Experience Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) London Area Pump Engineer Role Responsibilities: • Service, maintain, and repair wastewater pump systems • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on pump installations. • Commission new pumps and pumping stations. • Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required. • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure equipment reliability. • Complete service reports and related documentation accurately. • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures and industry regulations. • Provide excellent customer service while representing on-site. Pump Engineer Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Pump Engineer or similar role. • Experience working on wastewater pump systems and centrifugal pumps. • Electrical qualifications are highly desirable. • Ideally apprentice-trained with an electrical bias. • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. • Full UK Driving Licence. • Good communication skills and a good standard of English.
