This is a chance to lead a talented, multicultural engineering team and act as the technical bridge between engineering, product and the client. THE ROLE As a Technical Leader you will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, own delivery end to end, and make sure technical initiatives line up with business goals. You will own the backlog, drive quality across the codebase, and act as a trusted advisor to the client, proposing solutions that genuinely improve their systems and outcomes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team of engineers • Own team composition, onboarding, capacity planning and performance • Propose, prioritise and manage the backlog against sprint goals and delivery timelines • Oversee the full software lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and support • Keep the codebase scalable, efficient and maintainable through strong engineering practices • Act as a trusted technical advisor to the client and a communication bridge across teams • Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools and ways of working ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE • 10 plus years of hands on Python development experience • Strong experience with modern frameworks, ideally Flask or Django • Cloud experience, ideally across the AWS ecosystem • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical detail for non technical stakeholders • Fluent written and verbal English NICE TO HAVE • Experience with data platforms, ETLs or data science • Exposure to GCP or Azure alongside AWS WHAT'S ON OFFER • Salary up to £110,000 depending on experience • Hybrid working, two to three days a week in London • The chance to join a consultancy in triple digit growth that is changing how software products are built • A multicultural community of genuine tech experts • A highly competitive package plus medical insurance TO APPLY Please apply via this advert or email directly.
