About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Primary Teacher to join our specialist SEND provision, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a highly supportive and inclusive environment. You will be responsible for delivering a creative, flexible, and differentiated curriculum tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including (but not limited to) ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with EHCP targets • Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals • Use a range of assessment strategies to track progress and adapt teaching • Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues The Ideal Candidate Will Have • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Experience working within a primary setting • Experience or strong interest in SEND education • Knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach • Strong teamwork and communication skills Desirable (but not essential) • Experience working in a SEND school or provision • Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or other communication tools • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or Autism What We Offer • A supportive and collaborative team environment • Ongoing professional development and SEND training opportunities • A well-resourced provision with small class sizes • The opportunity to make a real impact on pupils’ lives • Competitive salary and benefits package How to ApplyTo apply, please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role to [insert email/contact details].
