JobTitle: Quality Engineer Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working - On-Site 3 Days Per Week) Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus & Benefits (Depending on Experience) Note: Only candidates with permanent, unrestricted UK working rights will be considered, as visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Overview: Zenovo are supporting a repeat client, who are a growing engineering organisation in their search for a Quality Engineer with a strong mechanical and manufacturing background to join their team in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, goods-inwards, quality control, engineering, and sustaining. A successful candidate will take on a varied position, with responsibilities ranging from conducting supplier audits and developing supplier quality metrics, to auditing internal procedures and creating new processes to support ongoing business growth. Job Responsibilities: • Investigate and resolve quality issues across internal teams, suppliers, and customers. • Manage supplier issues/queries and ensure effective corrective actions. • Support and improve the Quality Management System, including ISO9001 compliance. • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements. • Assist with Quality and Inspection Plans and support Quality Control activities. • Develop, review, and maintain procedures, process documentation, and quality plans. • Conduct internal and external audits. • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, customers, and suppliers. • Support KPI tracking and reporting. Experience Required: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role. • Manufacturing/engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach. • Experience with CMMs, inspection methods, and measurement equipment. • Working knowledge of ISO9001 QMS, with familiarity of ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO27001. • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365. • Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional communication skills.
