Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Permanent Position ASAP Start 8-4:45 M-T / 8-12:30 F (flexible start times) Derby Quality Engineer Job Description: • Acting as a customer & supplier interface and focal contract point for customers for all quality related matters including customer complaints, new product implementation, quality performance reviews • Leading day to day quality activities of an integrated logistics centre (Warehouse) to ensure accurate management of customer returns, supplier returns and quality wall inspections • Apply root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address product non-conformances and drive continuous improvement. • Develop, implement, and maintain inspection and testing protocols for in-process and final product verification using precision measurement tools and techniques. Quality Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications • Experience with customers or customer quality • Proven experience in root cause investigations (8D’s, 5Whys, CAPA) • Engineering & Manufacturing experience. • Experience with the following PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA Please apply below if this role is of interest!
