Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our growing Sutton Coldfield client who are seeking an ambitious Quality Engineer to join their manufacturing business. Our client are are investing heavily in new equipment, tools, technology, and expanding our in-house capabilities, making this an exciting opportunity to join a company with ambitious plans for the future. Duties and tasks will include: • Maintain, improve, and manage the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. • • Plan and conduct internal audits and support external certification audits. • • Manage quality documentation, compliance requirements, and quality performance metrics. • • Lead investigations into internal and external quality issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions. • • Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement. • • Perform inspections using shadowgraphs, gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment. • • Develop and improve quality control processes and inspection methods. • • Support supplier quality management and customer quality requirements. • • Contribute to wider business improvement initiatives and provide support across departments as required. • • Help foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
