Key Responsibilities
• Implement quality methodologies to evaluate and control systems in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
• Utilise APQP and PPAP tools to support product development, including:
• Supporting Product and Process Risk Analysis tools (PFMEA).
• Assessing process flow charts and process plans.
• Developing Control Plans for prototype builds and full-rate production.
• Evaluating Measurement Systems (MSA).
• Conducting Process Capability Studies (Pro-Cert / SPC).
• Compiling measurement reports, including First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP submissions.
• Providing quality deliverables for Work Transfer Gate reviews.
• Reviewing manufacturing processes (MPR).
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g. CQE) or relevant quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 auditor).
• Proven experience in quality engineering, with a strong focus on quality assurance within manufacturing environments.
• Direct experience managing work transfer projects, demonstrating success in maintaining or enhancing quality standards during transitions.
Desirable Experience
• Advanced knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, with a proven track record of driving quality and efficiency improvements.
• Familiarity with international quality standards and capability to manage quality across diverse geographical and regulatory environments.
• Proficiency in quality-related software tools and advanced data analysis skills.
• Strong project management skills, with experience leading quality projects across cross-functional teams.
