Job description

Role: Quality Inspector Location: Dudley Hours of work: Monday to Friday- 7am to 4.30pm Hourly Rate: £14ph Duration: Temporary Ongoing We are recruiting for an experienced quality inspector to join our client in the Dudley area, the client are a busy automotive manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and previous experience carrying out quality inspections within a manufacturing or automotive setting. Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out visual inspections of manufactured components. • Using callipers, micrometres, gauges, and other measuring equipment to ensure products meet specification. • Conducting first-off, in-process, and final quality inspections. • Identifying and reporting defects or non-conforming parts. • Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining quality documentation. • Working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved. • Ensuring all work is completed in line with customer specifications and company quality procedures. Requirements: • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing or automotive environment. • Confident using callipers, micrometres, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. • Strong visual inspection skills with excellent attention to detail. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is advantageous. • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • A proactive approach to maintaining high quality standards.
