Quality Inspector

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturer in Sheffield, who supply high-integrity components into the global oil & gas sector. Due to continued growth, they're looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for investing in its people, maintaining high manufacturing standards, and producing safety-critical components. The RoleYou'll play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications and industry standards through thorough inspection and verification activities. Key responsibilities include: • Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections of machined components • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications • Using a range of inspection equipment including verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges and CMM (experience beneficial) • Completing inspection reports and quality documentation accurately • Identifying and reporting non-conformances • Supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions where required • Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards About YouWe're looking for someone who has: • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment • Experience inspecting machined components • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T • Strong knowledge of manual inspection equipment • Experience using CMMs would be advantageous • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail • Experience working within ISO 9001 or API-controlled environments is desirable What's on Offer • Competitive salary of up to £35,000 • Monday to Friday working pattern • Company pension • Ongoing training and development • Stable, growing business with long-term career opportunities • Supportive team environment If you're an experienced Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity within a respected engineering manufacturer, we'd love to hear from you.
