Quality Inspectors

The Company Our client is at the forefront of the manufacturing and engineering sector. Sustained growth is the reason they have a new requirement for a Quality Inspector. The Role • Will be responsible for goods inwards inspection. • You will ensure compliance to specification. • Controls of non-conformance, retaining records and corrective and preventative actions. • Manage final inspection of product. • Will ensure quality of product in accordance with specification and standards. • Maintaining calibration system. • Assess for conformance to specification. • Speak with customers and suppliers where necessary. • Control of customer returns. • Root cause through using 8D, cause and effect, etc. • Maintenance of documentation. The Person • Experience in a similar role with in quality. • Ability to use quality measuring tools/equipment. • Must be organised, accurate and self-motivated. • Engineering or manufacturing experience essential. • Analytical thinking combined with effective communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
