Quality Manager (Aerospace) £50,000 - £52,000 + Pension + Health Cash Plan + Life Assurance + EAP + Increased Holiday + Bank Holidays Southend-on-Sea Are you a Quality Manager with aerospace experience looking to take full responsibility for a Quality Management System within a well-established manufacturing business leading a small team? Do you want to join a company where you will act as the management representative for all quality matters, lead quality inspectors, and ensure compliance to AS9100 and customer-specific aerospace standards? You will report directly to the General Manager and take ownership of calibration, auditing, FAIR approvals, and inspection activities across the business. This role would suit someone with a strong aerospace background who is confident managing quality systems, leading teams, and always maintaining audit readiness. The Role • Manage, maintain and monitor the Quality Management System (ISO 9100 / AS9100) • Act as company management representative for all quality matters • Lead and manage the Inspection and Test departments • Create and approve FAIR / LAIR documentation to specification • Oversee calibration, testing, qualification and associated approvals • Conduct internal and external audits (ISO9100 / AS9100) The Person • Aerospace sector experience • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9100 / AS9100 standards • Recent First Article Inspection (FAIR/LAIR) experience If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to submit an up-to-date copy of your CV.
