Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to support quality activities across engineering, manufacturing, and installation projects within the energy sector. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and quality management systems while driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact for project quality matters, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure quality requirements are met across design, manufacturing, testing, and installation activities.
• Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and related documentation.
• Lead quality reviews, risk assessments, non-conformance investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Support supplier qualification activities, audits, and quality surveillance.
• Lead or participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned across projects.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.
• (Equivalent experience may be considered.)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management, Project Quality, or a related field, preferably within the oil & gas or energy sector.
• Desired Skills & Experience
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience managing quality across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA, risk management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, API, ASME, and related quality standards.
• Hands-on experience supporting the fabrication, assembly, and construction of oil & gas equipment.
• Experience with subsea projects and offshore environments is highly desirable.
