Quantity Surveyor - Water Sector | Bournemouth £50,000-£60,000 + £4,800 Car Allowance + Package Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to build your career within the water sector? A leading infrastructure contractor delivering long-term frameworks with a major water supplier on the South Coast is seeking a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects valued between £5m and £40m across the county. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the end to end commercial management of projects on a framework with South West Water. This will include upgrades to waste water treatment works, pumping stations and various water storage sites across the region. Key Responsibilities • Full commercial management of water infrastructure projects • Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and administration • Preparation of cost plans, valuations, and financial reporting • Managing variations, change control, and compensation events • Supporting monthly CVR reporting and forecasting • Ensuring compliance with NEC contract terms • Building strong relationships with internal teams and client representatives Requirements • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering • Water sector experience would be highly desirable although not essential • Strong understanding of NEC contracts • Commercially astute with strong analytical capability • Excellent communication skills Salary & Benefits • £50,000 - £60,000 base salary • £4,800 car allowance • 25 days leave + bank holidays • Private pension • Private healthcare • Long-term framework security with a leading contractor • Clear progression opportunities with realistic goals so you know what you need to do to take your career forward • Realistic work life balance with hybrid working If you're a Quantity Surveyor with experience of working within the water, civil engineering or similar sectors and keen to progress and develop your career, get in touch with Matt Clegg at Gold Group today on .
