Quantity Surveyor
About the Role
My client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, managing the commercial aspects of interior fit-out projects across the UK. Working closely with clients, suppliers and project teams, you'll help ensure projects are delivered profitably, efficiently and to a high standard.
Projects include Student Accommodation, Hotels, Offices and Public Sector developments.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the commercial delivery of multiple projects.
• Prepare valuations, variations, cash flows and monthly CVR reports.
• Procure subcontractors and issue orders in line with company procedures.
• Review contracts and identify commercial risks.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, risks and opportunities.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project close-out and commercial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ procedures and health & safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
Essential
• Quantity Surveying qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within interior fit-out.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Valid CSCS Card.
Desirable
• Experience within commercial fit-out, residential, hospitality or student accommodation.
• Knowledge of CVR reporting and commercial forecasting.

Location & Working Pattern
• Office based in South Manchester.
• One day per week working from home during probation.
• Increased hybrid flexibility available after successful completion of probation.
• Travel to sites across the UK is required.
