Job description

Responsibilities of this job role To monitor and maintain clinical areas by preparing examination rooms, checking availability of consumables, and ensuring equipment and surroundings are clean, safe, and suitable for departmental use. To maintain accurate records and process information using relevant electronic systems, including updating patient details, handling imaging requests, and supporting the secure transfer of clinical information when required. To complete administrative and reception duties as directed, including arranging appointments, responding to departmental requests, and ensuring documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. To monitor stock levels and assist with the management of supplies by checking expiry dates, identifying shortages or discrepancies, and escalating concerns through the appropriate channels. To follow departmental procedures and safety requirements by carrying out equipment checks, reporting faults or malfunctions, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. To participate in training and development activities by supporting the induction of new staff, assisting learners within the department, and maintaining own knowledge through mandatory and additional training.
