What you will bring to the role This is a varied and rewarding opportunity within the NIHR Leeds Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Imaging Team, supporting the delivery of high-quality MRI and ultrasound imaging services within a dedicated research environment. Key aspects of the role include: • Supporting MRI and ultrasound imaging services within a state-of-the-art research facility. • Working alongside radiographers, sonographers, researchers and clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Assisting with the preparation, support and care of research participants attending for imaging procedures. • Providing clinical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the imaging service. • Contributing to imaging-related research activities that support innovative healthcare research programmes. • Supporting MRI safety processes and maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. • Assisting with quality assurance activities and equipment monitoring. • Communicating effectively and compassionately with patients throughout their visit. • Developing knowledge and experience within a specialist research imaging environment. • Playing a key role in maintaining high standards of patient-centred care and service delivery.
