Responsibilities:
• Conduct a range of CBCT scans adhering to DHC, Local, Regional, and National Guidelines.
• Exercise personal and professional autonomy, making critical clinical judgments using your knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company/Trust policies.
• Greet and explain scanning procedures to patients in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Enter accurate patient data and assist patients safely.
• Ensure patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with clinic/hospital teams and address service-related issues and queries.
• Complete end-of-day reports and upload images to PACS.
• Support scanner maintenance and report stock requirements.
• Support in the training of other radiographers as required.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and assist in incident/complaint investigations.
Requirements:
• We require either a HCPC-registered radiographer or GDC-registered dental nurse with radiography certificate.
• Proficiency in Radiographic techniques.
• Familiarity with contra-indications for scanning.
• Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated understanding of patient care, health & safety, and continuous professional development (CPD) requirements.
• Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).
• Immediate life support training (desirable)
