Radiology Assistant

The post holder will support the provision of a high quality diagnostic service to patients, visitors and staff within the Radiology Department. They will facilitate an efficient work flow between the scanner and support in an admin position where required. The post holder will provide an efficient and friendly service or patients undergoing Radiology examinations and provide any administrative support required, to ensure that the unit is running efficiently. They will assist with patient and room preparation, perform admin role and support the Radiographers where required. This post works closely and efficiently with the radiology team. Please note, this role will start as a band 2 position and be up-banded to band 3 once competency for cannulation and completion of the Care Certificate have been completed .
