Your contribution will help ensure a smooth and positive experience for passengers while maintaining the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Assist with the loading and unloading of baggage from aircraft, ensuring correct placement and security. • Transport baggage and cargo between terminal buildings and aircraft. • Load and unload aircraft within specified turnaround times. • Sort baggage and scan baggage tags for flights. • Load containers and trailers and deliver/collect mail and freight from various airside locations. • Coordinate with flight crews and ground staff to facilitate efficient aircraft turnaround. • Manage baggage documentation and tracking to minimise loss or misplacement. • Conduct safety inspections of baggage carts, trolleys, and ground support equipment. • Support aircraft marshalling and guide aircraft on the tarmac when required. • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within baggage handling areas. • Respond promptly to operational issues or emergencies in accordance with established safety procedures. All duties involve the use of large goods vehicles and specialist ground handling equipment. A strong awareness of health and safety and safe working practices is essential; however, full training will be provided.
