About the Role: Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary RE Teacher to join a secondary school in the Liverpool area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture students. Secondary RE Teacher Location: Liverpool Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Pay: Paid to scale Key Responsibilities: • Planning and delivering lessons: Designing and teaching lessons that explore religious traditions, moral values, and philosophical ideas • Assessing student progress: Mark assignments, provide feedback, and track student performance to ensure learning objectives are met. • Classroom management: Maintaining discipline and creating a safe, respectful learning environment • Supporting student development: Mentor students, helping them develop both academic and life skills. • Collaborating with parents and colleagues: Communicate with parents about student progress and work with fellow educators to improve teaching strategies.
