Teacher of Religious Education (RE) Permanent Position | September 2026 Start Salford Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher looking for your next permanent opportunity? We are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Salford that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education to join their successful Humanities department from September 2026 on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who is committed to delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons that inspire students to explore a range of beliefs, values, and ethical issues. The Role • Teaching Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that promote student progress and engagement. • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Monitoring and assessing student attainment and providing effective feedback. • Contributing to the wider life of the Humanities department and school community. The Ideal Candidate Will Have • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK secondary school setting. • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject. • Excellent classroom management and communication skills. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
