Reception Teacher (EYFS) - BarnetFull Academic Year Contract | September 2026 StartA popular one-form entry primary school in Barnet is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic,professional Reception Teacher to join its Early Years team from September 2026.
This is a full-time position for the entire academic year and offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong reputation for staff development, pupil well being and high-quality teaching and learning.
The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers and will also consider an exceptional ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a nurturing environment with a highly regarded induction and mentoring programme.
The Role
• Full-time Reception Teacher position within EYFS
• Teaching a Reception class in a one-form entry primary school
• Delivering a creative, engaging and child-centred EYFS curriculum
• Supporting children to make excellent progress from their individual starting points
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community
• Full academic year contract from September 2026
The Successful Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an exceptional ECT
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
• A nurturing and engaging approach to teaching and learning
• Excellent classroom organisation and communication skills
• High expectations for pupil achievement and development
• A commitment to providing outstanding early years education

Salary£195 - £255 per day, depending on experience.
