Care Navigator / Reception Team Leader • Annual Salary: £13.50/hour 26k+ FTE • Job Type: Part-time (1-6:30 PM) Join our friendly and busy GP surgery as a Care Navigator / Reception Team Leader. We are looking for a confident and approachable individual to support our afternoon reception team. This role is ideal for someone who is patient-focused and ready to step into a leadership role. Day-to-day of the role: • Oversee the afternoon reception operations, ensuring efficient and effective patient service. • Lead and support the reception team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. • Handle patient inquiries with a calm and patient-focused approach. • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and care navigation. • Manage appointment scheduling and patient records with high attention to detail. Required Skills & Qualifications: • GP surgery or healthcare reception experience is preferable but not essential. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • A calm, patient-focused approach to handling inquiries and issues. • Confidence to lead or step into a leadership role. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
