Job Title: Receptionist Contract: Temporary (Ad hoc - work offered as and when required) Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm Location: Warwick Salary: £12.71 per hour + £1.53 holiday pay per hour An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Receptionist to join our client, a well-established organisation based in Warwick. This is a flexible, ad hoc temporary position, where our client requests support to cover busy periods, annual leave and unplanned absences. This could be for individual days, a few days in a week, or occasional longer bookings, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible work around other commitments. The successful candidate will be a friendly, professional and reliable individual, supporting the business across reception and hosting duties, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for visitors and staff alike. Duties include: • Meeting and greeting visitors, providing a professional first impression • Answering and directing incoming calls • Preparing meeting rooms and ensuring they are ready for use • Providing refreshments for meetings when required • Sending and receiving parcels and liaising with couriers • Keeping meeting areas tidy and reporting any issues • Supporting general administrative tasks • Working closely with the other host to ensure smooth day-to-day operations • Rotating between reception and meeting room hosting responsibilities Skills and experience required: • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably Reception or Front of House • Professional, friendly and approachable manner • Excellent communication skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs • Ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality • Well-presented with a positive, can-do attitude • Strong time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you feel that you have the necessary skills and experience required to fulfil this role, apply or get in touch with Tirebuck Recruitment for more information.
