Job description

What to expect • Coordinating and managing large scale recordal projects on a worldwide basis, primarily relating to Assignment, Merger, Change of Name and Change of Address recordals, and often involving more than one recordal step and/or multiple parties • Attending to recordal of Assignments, Mergers, Changes of Name and Changes of Address at the UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO • Liaising with local counsel all over the world to coordinate recordal projects and ensure correct requirements are met • Collating and checking required documentation, drafting documents for signature by clients • Arranging signature of documents by clients • Coordinating the notarisation and legalisation of documents • Processing and reporting official documents (recordal certificates, notifications) • Ensuring meticulous record keeping • Providing regular updates to fee earners/partners • Billing, records database and other administration duties relating to the aforesaid A bit about you • Educated to A Level or equivalent • At least 3 years prior experience co-ordinating global trade mark recordals work either gained in a law firm or patent/trade mark Agency • Experience supporting large scale/complex trade mark portfolio acquisitions • Experience supporting lawyers in resolving historical chain of title issues • Experience using WebTMS database desirable • Able to work without supervision and to be able to demonstrate initiative • Excellent attention to detail • Excellent time management skills and a good team player • Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the client’s business and be client-facing • Completion of CITMA Introduction to Trade Mark Administration and Formalities Course (or a similar Course) desirable Who are we looking for? • We don't have a type.
