Recruitment ConsultantNewport | Permanent | Birthday Off | You Day | Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) IntroductionAcorn by Synergie, part of Synergie - Europe's fifth largest recruitment company, is recruiting a Recruitment Consultant to join our busy head office in Newport. This role is ideal for experienced recruiters or ambitious sales professionals seeking to grow their career in a fast-paced, client-focused recruitment environment. You will have autonomy to work independently - running your own desk and offering creative recruitment solutions to businesses across multiple sectors. This is a chance to work on a permanent commercial recruitment desk. Key Duties • Manage the full permanent recruitment life-cycle, from job briefing through to offer and placement. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted recruitment partner. • Conduct business development activity to win new clients and generate vacancies. • Source, screen and interview candidates using multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals). • Match candidates effectively to permanent roles based on skills, experience and cultural fit. • Prepare candidates for interviews, providing coaching and feedback. • Negotiate offers and fees, ensuring a successful close for all parties. • Ensure full compliance with employment legislation, data protection and company processes. • Maintain accurate records on the CRM/ATS, tracking candidate and client activity. Requirements • Previous experience in recruitment or sales. • Outgoing personality with a strong work ethic. • Ability to listen, learn, and build strong client and candidate relationships. • Passion for sales and providing excellent customer service. • Full UK driving licence.
