Adecco are currently recruiting for Refuse Collection Loader to work on assignment with our client based in Charnwood. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Environmental Services team delivering essential waste and recycling services to local residents and businesses across the borough. Following a successful 12-week assignment, there is the opportunity to become a permanent employee with our client. Working alongside a dedicated team of Loaders, you'll help keep communities clean, safe and environmentally responsible while providing excellent customer service. The Role As an Refuse Collection Loader, you will: • Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job • Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal • Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed • Complete relevant paperwork in real time. • Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage • Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles • Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will: • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Self-motivated • Willingness to undertake tasks • Previous relevant experience desirable, but not essential! • Be reliable, hardworking and safety conscious. • Be physically fit due to the nature of the role. • Have a positive attitude and excellent team-working skills. • Be willing to support colleagues and go the extra mile to ensure routes are completed successfully. • Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public.
