Refuse Driver

We are currently looking for a Refuse Driver. You will be working in Derby Monday - Friday 06:00am - 15:45pm Temp Contract - Ongoing Pay rate - £15.56ph paye Job Purpose • Safely drive refuse collection vehicles on planned collection routes. • Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues. • Collect household, recycling, garden waste, and commercial waste in line with scheduled rounds. • Work closely with refuse loaders to ensure collections are completed efficiently and safely. • Operate vehicle lifting equipment and other collection mechanisms correctly. • Ensure compliance with road traffic legislation, health and safety regulations, and council policies.
