Part-time (2 Saturday waking nights per month, 7pm - 7am)
Join our dedicated Community Care team as a Paediatric Nurse in Manchester, providing critical overnight care to a child on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). This role is ideal for someone passionate about paediatric healthcare and eager to make a significant impact in a child's life.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Provide specialised nursing care to a child on TPN during assigned night shifts.
• Monitor the child’s condition throughout the night, responding promptly to any needs or emergencies.
• Administer medications and TPN as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Communicate effectively with family members, ensuring they are informed and reassured about the child’s care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Excellent clinical skills with a deep understanding of paediatric care protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of providing compassionate care.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
