We are currently recruiting several Registered Nurses to join the Inpatients Unit at Newcastle Hospice on a 12-month fixed term contract Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale (aligned with AFC) Band 5 £32,073 - £39,043 per annum + enhancements Hours: Full Time or Part Time 37.5 hours per week Shift pattern:(Days 7.30 am 8 pm, Nights 7.30 pm 8 am) Contract: 12 months Fixed Term Based:Newcastle Hospice Closing date: 27th July 2026 Interview date: 11th August 2026 Being a Nurse at Marie Curie is incredibly rewarding on many levels. As a Marie Curie Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care and participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the care needs for patients in a palliative care setting, helping them live their final days with dignity. You'll be part of a supportive team that truly cares about you and your development. Using a patient-centred approach and evidenced based practice, assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and co-ordinate care from admission to discharge. You will be expected to administer medication and treatment as prescribed in accordance with the NMC's and the Charity's policies and guidelines. You will also provide emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and carers.
