Responsibilities: - Support the Clinical Research Delivery Team in the set-up and running of research studies, including maintaining site files, archiving, uploading recruitment details and participant data to internal systems- Implement standard operating procedures for the team and propose changes to operational practices to demonstrate improvements in services.- Provide operational support to colleagues, as directed by the Line Manager.- General administrative duties including filing, photocopying, diary management and distribution of deliveries.- Ensure appropriate electronic systems are kept up to date, ensuring that information entered into the system is in line with the Trusts data quality standards.- Ensure good customer service by providing a professional and effective telephone service, taking accurate messages and providing information and signposting as requested and appropriate.- Provide cross-cover for other staff across the hospital to ensure a consistent and effective service is always maintained.
Experience/Skills Needed: - Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GCSE pass level 4 or above or equivalent standard.- Basic skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word- Ability to work under pressure.- Excellent verbal and telephone/communication skills.- Good, clear written communication skills- Good interpersonal skills- Good organisational skills- Attention to detail- Ability to work within a team and autonomously- Commitment to completing the L3 apprenticeship training
